Hypothetically speaking:
Apart from infantry, which units would be most usefull to have readily available if someone were to mass produce a series?
If you were building a Tyranid army, which larger bugs would you want most of?

Heh, why didn't I notice this!

Really that's kind of hard to answer... maybe carnifex? I can't think of any one of the larger bugs that has a dominant role really.  Bio-titans would be really useful!

how legal is the army your actually making. i thought all the larger bugs were out of a seperate support style pool? or have i missed a revision of the list?

I never build an army to fit a particular list. Mainly I prefer to have a wide selection of units so I can build just about any force I find interesting for a particular game (Well except for really nutty stuff like all Hormogaunt armies and stuff like that :D)

Been tinkering a bit with the infantry color scheme.
The models on the right were my initial plan. Camo green with bone areas picked out in white and washed with Sepia wash. Hoever I felt that ended up looking too murky. My larger creatures are painted with catachan green, washed with sepia wash, then touched up with green again and highlighted with catachan/white mixes. (ravener and lictor to the left)
This is simply too time  consuming for infantry, so I feeded to come up with some kind of alternative. Although it is far from perfect I think I'm going to settle with a comprimise: Thined down catachan green over white with armor plates picked out white and washed with sepia looks reasonably detailed without being too time consuming.
