Started experimenting with different Legion schemes starting with a few of my favourites.

I really like the metal warriors, the eygyptians look super cool still need to get round to mine as i have only done a few test schemes, they take ages to paint though Alphas look cool aswell,

I think my mind has set on a bit of everything, a proper chaos army. I definitely plan to paint my Raptors as Night Lords but I also want a foot formation of them, along with the Prince from the last page. I also have some posessed type models that will be Word Bearers when I figure out a place for them, heck they'll get painted that way regardless. The Black Legion just strikes me as boring sadly.

I'm steering clear of the other Cult legions for now.

Non legion-wise I'm going to paint up a stand of Red corsairs to see if I enjoy the scheme!

Found a spot with decent light and thought I'd show everything so as to give a level playing field for people to judge, and maybe give a tip or preference to help me decide.

Lastly I highlighted the Tau skimmers a stage further, before trying Westsides techniques out, has it helped at all? As each Chaos stand takes most of the day to paint these will likely be my TOEG 2012 army...
