Oh and great idea about cutting the bases on your bio-tanks. I think they look much better that way.

Quick update to show a WIP pic : the last part of my Tyranid army. When these units are painted, my army will be complete.  

Hive Fleet Juggernaut is making slow progress, but my bio-tanks are now finished. At last!  

The Malefactor are a real pain to paint, but they're my favorites. Not much left to paint now before I complete my nid army.  

More reinforcements, Genestealers this time. It's about time I painted them, I've sorely needed some cheap Scout units in my previous games.

Another quick update, with plastic Spore Mines as Meiotic Spores.



Only 8 Biovores, 3 Carnifex, 2 Trygons and 2 winged Hive Tyrants left to paint now.

At last, my Tyranid army is now complete !!!

A quick update to show the very beginning of my next project: the Word Bearers (I've stripped my Alpha Legion Chosen to start afresh). Here are a couple of units painted this morning.



The paint scheme is very simple (and fast, this time, I learned my lesson with the Tyranids) :

- Black primer
- Mechrite Red heavy drybrush
- Red Ink wash
- Chestnut Ink wash
- Boltgun Metal on the weapons
- Devlan Mud wash all over

Fast and easy, just the way I like it.
