Hive fleet wasp? That's simple but VERY imaginative and effective color scheme. My hat is off to you.  :D

Great color scheme on those nids!  Simple and it really looks good.

Those Zoanthropes are my favorites. :wow:

Back again with a few bio-tanks. I've cut the bases in a "potato" shape because I could bear the sight of my Tyranids on rectangular stands.  :p

I've almost finished my Tyranid army but it's hard to keep my motivation as I've chosen a very slow method (basically it's 4 drybrushes, 1 wash, another drybrush and then I have to paint 95% of the model in black... sooo slow). Here's what I have left to paint:

- a dozen bio-tanks
- as many meiotic spores
- 9 Genestealers
- 8 Biovores
- 3 Carnifex
- and 2 Trygons

I think I'm going to do some terrain for a while, just to change my mind.  :))

40 gargoyle; 4 hours! And i even left 8 of them 'as normal' on the wings to to save time...nor did i have the luxury of SM2 command sticks; i had to cut off the 6mm 'base', drill a hole, attach a bit of plasti-rod and then bevel that correctly so as the flapping nightmares would fit on top! But boy was it worth it!
How are your bugs coming along in total?
Yrs,

Taking a break from my Tyranids, I found the time to paint some terrain. Not using any Chaos Black for once is a welcome change.  :p

I've had some Epic ruins and GW's aquarium "trees" in store for ages, so I decided to combine both and do some kind of "ruined city in the jungle". Will go nicely with my 'nids, too.  :alien:

Here's part of the result (not enough space to photograph everything at once... but wait for my next batrep  :;): )
