Probably my mistyping of Tale of Wargamers 2009, the painting event that was going on through the end of april here on taccoms.

With taccoms back up for a bit, I'm posting an update to teh IF army with the dev detachment I finished up last weekend along with the hill. Next up are some forge knights that are well on their way to being finished leaving me with two warlords and I'm done (read, out of things to paint) with my AMTL force.

Another small update. I finished up the last six knights today so that leave with with two warlords to go on my AMTL stuff. Here's to hoping I get them done this week. If not, well I'll see y'all in a few weeks, and my painting time will likely drop a bit since I'm getting married :)

Thanks, well I'm back from the honeymoon and getting back into the swing of painting again. Currently on the table are my last two beetleback warlords which are approximately 70% complete awaiting detailing and trim as well as the carapaces. The arm weapons are currently with a friend of mine who kindly agreed to help build the arms while I was away so I wouldn't be too far behind schedule. I don't think I'll have that quite ready by the time the rest of the models are painted so I'll be moving back to the Fists starting with 6 rhinos before tackling the second battle company.

The beetleback warlords are complete minus the arms which should be finished next week, so I went ahead and started in on some epic rhinos to be used with that not mine IF army :) After fighting a few mold lines, they are done and ready to seal so here are the pics.

for a couple of closer shots I'm attaching the high res of two of the images.

Mate,

Looking awesome as usual, the detail is fantastic. Love the weathered look of the minis.

Cheers
Aaron

Thanks Cal! My wife went off shopping this afternoon which gave me time to get the deathstrikes for my IG army finished. These guys went pretty fast but I was having some difficulty deciding on the color scheme for the missiles. All in all I don't think they came out too badly though I might rework the missile body to something else eventually.
