The next variation I may try involves multiple horizontal cross sections swept together.

My original desire was to make a head inspired from the SW 3 magna guards. I find those guys deliciously creepy.

Hmm. Ok it is somewhat complicated with this program. You cant draw some lines and then klick "fill" :D
But some things i wanted to do now work, so i think i CAN make the head. But it will require some time :)


EDIT: Wow thats cool :) the grille reminds me of a Slaanesh version ;)

3D programs have a substantial "learning curve", but MoI is the easiest (and cheapest!) that I have encountered.

Go the MoI forums, BL, they may prove helpful.

The vertical mouth grille definitely reminds me of Slaanesh.  :devil:

Is the head really needed.  Could someone just toss any old Chaos Warrior head on top, or would that be too large?

That Magna Guard head is sweet, but I'd take most any head given how great the rest looks. :))

Would a helmeted "head" that flares at the bottom be any easier to produce?

I've seen plenty of good sculptors on this site so I'm surprised someone hasn't offered to sculpt a head for it by now.

Do we have an approximate cost on what each figure would be if fully cast?
