I have tried to follow a visual theme that characterises an aspect of the eldar way of war each time I have done conversions for this army.  This time I decided to go for stealth.  I wanted the Wraithlords to look like they were sneaking up to ambush some enemy armour.

At long last 2 units of firestorms.  The first lot sent out had all their weapons broken and bent which would be useless for trying to paint as a commission and send in the post but after FW send out new turrets they were pretty much just as bad so I have used wire to replace the barrels of the weapons (at least it will survive the post) the original barrels are rediculously fragile and I can't see how you could handle them without breaking them (especially the way they are placed).

The Firestorms look great. Pitty about those barrels, they need to look at their design again and make it a little more resiliant.

My vote would be they put some whole in there and provide a metal barrel to glue in.

Ok the next lot is finished.  I was hoping to have it finished much earlier than this but my wife and I have both been busy with Uni so I have been either studying or doing dad stuff.

I finished these tonight.



Which means the next lot is all done.



add that to the original lot (which was this plus a couple of titans, aircraft and weapons teams that I never got in a group shot.



Now that is one big army full of Ulthwe goodness.

I think this is probably the one that I am most fond of that I have ever created.

My favorite model is the first Wraith Lord I converted.



CAL will have to post a full group shot when these arrive.  I need to drybrush all the static grass to match the rest of the army tomorrow and pack them up securely ready to post then they will be into the warp to their new home to join there brothers.
