I repainted the standard 3 more times until i got it to where i liked it, added a green kinda glow to the plasma gun and some markings on the back of the standard.

Thanks i like it, as far as the green its such a small area it's just for a effect not something thats really going to pop on the model.

Gentlemen, I present to you the pimp marines... The Minotaurs!

Seriously, that is a very "golden" paint scheme. Gold is a tricky colour and difficult to paint but the muddy look works good here.

I do like it aswell, was pretty easy.
Prime white
dwarf bronze undercoat
badab black wash
drybrush bronze add in detail, boom done.

Ha thankyou... i was like pimp marines??? and then you said golden paint scheme so i got it lol. i'm glad it came out the way it did, but it's actually dwarf bronze as the main color. the minotaurs colors are bronze and red, but the color clashes like crazy with brown on the base i like how it turned out though.

Finished up some land raiders, the two on the left are paint schemes i got from a google search. The one on the right is the main scheme i will be using minus the world eaters symbol on the front.

When you say minus the symbol, do you mean not to repeat it at all because it is awesome!

Scheme wise I like all 3.

Yeah I was thinking painting them all like that would be overkill, do you think the middle one needs a blue hatch also?

Paint Shop Pro, its a program I got used to many years ago and feel comfortable with.

Just just the middle out of each LR and transposed them and blurred the edge so you didnt see how messy my cutting was :)
