Belated thanks epic been a while but I've had nothing to update with.

Definitely need to play less battlefield, my tiny soldiers are starting to feel neglected.

Progress has moved slowly and incident free on the landing craft, it will be finished soon I think.

New turret layout, now with tiny storm bolters!

Still to do.

Detailing suggestions required for the underside it is looking a bit plain.

C&C as always is welcome along with any suggestions people might have.

Thanks for looking!

That looks pretty darn cool mate ;) Glad to see you are getting back to the minatures, that said a break from some hobbys is good some times as you always come back with more enthusiasm ;)

Thanks epic I'm really happy with the progress, my biggest sticking point(you'll have to excuse the pun here) is super glue. I used to use GW super glue, and still like the brush application but their new thin stuff is awful, and almost immediately self destructs into a nasty mixture. I've been trying different stuff but can't find one with a brush applicator, and all the dropper style ones are awkward/messy.

As for the model the to be finished section is troubling me as I want to maintain the hawk style of the front section whilst maintaining the crew extension all the way forward.

:/

CS,
I just use the normal superglue i.e the little metal tube ones, I use EverBuild at least i think thats what its called without looking, its normally on offer about £1.20 for two tubes, the tips are pretty fine and it flows well and sticks well, Its brilliant for sticking arms on sarah conner and such like, also as its so cheap when the tube gets to that bit where you have to squueze it i just bin it and open another fresh tube :)

May be worth buying a small selection of different cheap tubes and see which ones you get on with :)

As for thunderbricks my FW lr transporter i was tempted to replace the lr for an ello and use a magnet but not sure how well the magnet would be hidden or how long the paintwork would last after been removed and re attached a few times ::)

Anyway keep up the great work regards epic

Cheers epic, I know the type you mean, just need to find some before my next project.

Well folks I think I may be done with this conversion, its a little rough around the edges but I'm happy with how it looks. Even so some feedback good or bad would be great.

Onto pics...

Thoughts on a giant tracked cathedral...

Well I've been mulling this over for a while. Some will have seen the other thread asking for a giant whale to base this on as I wanted to keep the STC feel of the army. I still would if the giant whale ever becomes available again. But hey ho I have had a nice model pointed out to me that I could use.

Here is the results:

Next to a giant whale(that I'd rather keep intact).

I intend to also construct a large flame weapon on the front, something based on this burninator but larger.

Looking for feedback here... are the statues a bit much? Should I have more statues? More aquilas? Anything else I may not have thought of...

looks pretty good. i'd trim the burninator by about half so its not sticking out so far, and i'd probably leave off the celestine at the back. otherwise i like it a lot. good to see that the idea works.

any shots with something else for scale? the infantry arent too clear. perhaps a rhino?

Aye my burniator ideas were similar just need more of them to do what I want to do.

I had thought to put celestine on top like a fairy on a Christmas tree but yeah a bit too much.

Scale shot.

very nice. celestine on the front in the place of the I might work well. i'd also want the statues to be the same, mirrored if possible, on both sides. and i intend to beef up the pipes at the back, give it a pipe organ feel
but yes, very nice

Very nice- I presume these are for SoB? I have nt been following the Net EA Other Forces so have no idea what the model is but it sure looks impressive.
