Looks a bit like tau, but this might become my necron obelisk proxy. Non-standard look.

or a new vehicle when the new units from the codex are converted to epic.

Those look freaking awesome man, i can picture some bad ass green beam of light shooting out and disintegrating some enemies.

The weapon load out doesn't really match but the size and idea would make it close enough fit for the Harbringer Barge!

I think Ill make a few of these just cus it looks so cool! and I think the shield'/monoliths would work good for tomb complexes, if you cut the lower half so the center circle bit was at the base of the tower and then cut the circle out of one side to show the entrance.... hmmmmm ... yesss....

and there could be many variations.

- just the hovering part
- hovering part reversed (like on 2nd pic)
- hovering part + cannon on top
- just the cannon part
- 2 hovering parts facing each other

etc.

(btw. do not try to outbid me on ebay for parts)

:) >:D ;D ;)

If you split the big piece down the middle, then put the skinny piece on its side in the middle and glued, it could be a necron flyer aswell.

started to do two test examples. Unfortunately the basecoat got too thick, blocking partly some of the fine lines.

THESE ARE JUST COLOUR TESTS, not finished products.

The very dark green looks pretty good, but the fine lines are not always good. Note to myself, do not paint when tired.

For the metal one I still need to add green (or blue) and gold details. For the dark one also.

I like the dark one, though I'd do some edge highlighting on it.
