Yes had a day off because of building work going on so managed to get some painting time in, not much but enough to finish these at least.

@malika2 mate they have had a wash of black shade and the nose section and black areas have had suttle paint damage added too.

Two months plus since my last post pretty poor effort for sure but anyway nothing painted to show but I did get this nice display cabinet from LIDL last week already populated with my more recent work.

Have achieved absolutely nothing over the holiday fate intervened by giving me a cold at the beggining of the break followed by me hurting my back again for the rest of it, meaning I couldn't sit at the hobby bench without being in pain. Still not right yet so a whole holiday break period lost as far as hobby time goes and I had such plans. :(

Anyway here's a pic of my shiny new case wish i'd had room for a few more.

pants news about the illness stopping you getting the paints out over the crimbo period which is always good for some hobby time.

Sort of in the same boat myself, have now got catarax in both eyes and wondered why my eyesight was getting worse ! Good old NHS saying they do not want to risk doing them at this stage as I am under 40, but the crazy thing is I'm 40 in less than a year :{[]

Now have to paint everything under one of those magnified lites and pay the price with headaches, which takes the fun out of the hobby at the moment :(

Hope your back gets better soon mate, you may need to look at commission painting to keep your momentum, I know I am considering it !

@ epic, thanks i'm pleased with it. My back almost returned to normal still a little stiff but more mobile now. Sounds like you are not doing to well health wise yourself sorry to hear of your ailments. Have considered some commission work for my armies but i'm not going there just yet.

Glad you are on the mend Dakka ;) No sorries for me just a natural progression of old age with catarax that runs in the family, easily sorted when the time comes with a quick and simple op ;) Still painting and converting just takes a little longer as i cant do hours of block painting atm ;D

Yipee finished something at last well apart from the base work as i'm not sure if this model will be used on Isstvan III or V. Stormer siege breaker assault carrier in 16th legion colours.
