Ta again. :)

Justiniel: the four places I know of:

http://www.jeffvalentstudios.com/
http://www.impactminiatures.com/index.php?option=home
http://www.heresyminiatures.com/
http://www.masq-mini.de

That takes care of both sides of the Atlantic and then some.

Firestorm: good question!

Occasionally I have illusions that I'm ok at this 6mm converting/modelling/painting stuff, then someone comes along and convinces me I'm not..sigh.

Awesome work :)

Agreed  :D

Thanks for the links Vermis, will definitely order some up and give it a go, green stuff I find maddening to work with.

After seeing this, I have no doubt, one day we will all be buying minis sculpted by Vermis.

Once again I am shown that I have fallen far behind in 6mm work! I think I might just avoid the putty from now on & avoid the embarrasment & realisation of how rusty I am :p

Awesome stuff - Keep it up ;)

After looking at your Logan Grimnar stuff, I think you're selling yourself short!  Anyhow, I'll let you into a secret: large featureless robes help avoid having to mess around with legs and torsos. :;):

It's hard because I have a poor track record with infantry sized pieces.

It's also hard because something like this would have to be cut and cast in 4 pieces: main body, left arm with axe, backpack doodad 1, backpack doodad 2.

hey i was walking home thinking exactly to cut into those pieces! Well if you're congident you could cut it up..at the risk of ruining it...but for the greater good...couldnt a second one be made (if its possibl) and that cut up?

Well, there are a number of hypotheticals.

Would Vermis want to, even if bribed, make another thing like this?

Could I successfully mold and cast it? The smallest things I've successfully done are land speeder sized multi-meltas and rocket pods. The jury is out on this question.

And finally, assuming that after approximately 16 hours of Vermis sculpting, shipping, dis-assembly, molding, refining, re-molding, refining, test casting, and then reliable casting (about 4 hours on my part), who would want it? Besides possibly Vermis, myself, and Hotwire.

Sorry. My recent molding and casting disasters have shaken my confidence.
