Well the holiday was great. Lots of sun and some great diving....

I have managed to finish off the Thunderhawk now so here's a piccy...





I'm slowly working on the warhound which might take some time but I've managed to undercoat a predator detachment and 4 razorbacks, so there are next up !!

Not sure I will have enough painted by then, but don't worry my tau are always up for some bug crunching!!! :;): ? ?and the orks haven't had an arcachnid BBQ for quite a while.......

Well guys I'm glad to say I was brave enough to field the stormbringers in their first outing against the nids.. a nice 2000pts battle. And I'm glad to say they are currently unbeaten!! Manage to win 2-0  in the 3rd round thanks to the nids failing a couple activations right at the end meaning he couldn't get close enough to contest his Blitzkrieg (Which gave me blitzkrieg and take and hold)

The outcome would have been mightily different had I not failed those 2 crucial activations in turn 3!!

Also - the hive mind has learned a crucial lession "don't assault a full strength tactical without having laid a blast marker - big bad by me - I thought my 12 first strikes might kill something .....alas....

Looking forward to facing the 'Bringers again Orky, when you've finished painting up you full army.

I will have my revenge ...oh yes ....... :angry:
