Well two weeks of intense headache is hopefully over. Despite still a little unwell, i held my breath to avoid the fumes from the glue.

Just the exhaust to go, but i think that will tip it despite trying to use the arms to balance them.

Think i'll have to change the torso pivet point so i can mount these without them toppling. But gonna wait till i spray paint them.

Don't underestimate the awesomeness of scratchbuilding. Despite it's advantages, I still find the more 'natural' approach of scratch building and sculpting to give the models something more 'human'. There's is something about 3d modelled figures that screams 'artificial', it's almost a sort of uncanny valley kinda thing. A while back there was an interesting discussion on the matter over at the Specialist Games forum.

aye. this is especially true for things like orks and wasteland mutants etc where things are not mass produced.
