Well two weeks of intense headache is hopefully over. Despite still a little unwell, i held my breath to avoid the fumes from the glue.

Just the exhaust to go, but i think that will tip it despite trying to use the arms to balance them.

Think i'll have to change the torso pivet point so i can mount these without them toppling. But gonna wait till i spray paint them.

Don't underestimate the awesomeness of scratchbuilding. Despite it's advantages, I still find the more 'natural' approach of scratch building and sculpting to give the models something more 'human'. There's is something about 3d modelled figures that screams 'artificial', it's almost a sort of uncanny valley kinda thing. A while back there was an interesting discussion on the matter over at the Specialist Games forum. :)

aye. this is especially true for things like orks and wasteland mutants etc where things are not mass produced.
