Not sure atm. I have an orca on the table, but I'm not entirely sure what I'll do to it for colors - might go for camo on top, solid blue-grey bottom; kinda like the old soviet Su-27 color scheme, and for much the same reason: Just throw some camo netting over it on the ground and it's gone to the casual eye, and during descend, the blue belly will match the sky.

Well the Powers that Be in EA have decided to retcon them out of the lists, so they're simply not there ..

That said, I do believe that these guys would do in a pinch ..

Retcon may be a bit harsh. When the EA Tau were initally developed Vespids didn't exist. They weren't added primarily due to a) lack of models and b) the Tau taking forever to complete even without adding in a new unit, if I have my story straight.

They were there a couple versions back; then were apparently removed for being too good a plug in the Tau Assault Deficiency. Here's the thread where I and others mentioned them.

These are amazing.

I am saddened by the fact that Tau are one of those armies that if you didnt buy it when it was available through Forge World, you wont ever play it...unless you get silly-lucky on Ebay.

Love the colors and the bases, but a touch of flocking might bring them even more to life.

There's always scratchbuilding. That's what I've been doing for my Tau.
