Yes, my friend, it is. That is the Euro symbol that started me down the bronze tasting path.

Mmm, bronzey.

Well ... it's an oldie but a goodie ! :)

Is the new Euro symbol a bit smaller than the old Euro symbol?

Much crying and gnashing of teeth! (Should have known L4 would have one though, lucky sod.)

Lucky ... yes ... but as O-man said, this mere "proto-type" has been superseded by a new improved version ... :sigh: :sulk:

Yes, but it's true scale; that is, a faithful reduction from 28mm to 6mm of the FW pylon.

Silly World of Forges, these are beautiful. Kind of makes me wish I needed some.

Truly awesome work O-man, absolutely beautiful. I cannot believe Forgeworld weren't interested... fools!

You have a real skill for this stuff. Why not design some of you own stuff and start a miniatures company? Farm out the molding and casting and just focus on the 3d design. Get someone here to work on a ruleset.
Do it. You know you want to....

Regards,
Reaver

Very well done, Otterman!

It's a sad tale great dirges will be sung about.

It is a sad tale indeed, but one in which the readers will make a happy ending all of their own.

And lo, I am the caretaker who was spoken of.

In hope and with honour did I gather not just this, but many items of beauty and wonder from across three continents, to set before the master of the Forge, and also the master of the legendary story himself.

But perchance the Otterman was mistaken in his appraisal of the words of the Angleman, for the master of the Forge did not reply with a direct 'No'.

He replied with the solumn and wise intimation:

'Not right now; Maybe; We've got your details if we need them'

It is my earnest wish that the Otterman's creation will be called for again in time, and that upon that day many people will rejoice, for they will be enabled either by the master of the Forge or the writer of the lengthy narrative poem to purchase many small things of intricate beauty both of the mechanical and the biological, which heretofore lacked a legitimately available form.

For now, the Angleman must keep his silence, and regretfully return the wondrous creations to the three continents. Do not let them be damaged by time and by chance however, for though your creations have an understandable need to be revealed, one day my telephonic communications device may ring, and a consequent revelation would be a thing of glory and honour.

To the Otterman (And the other Men of my team) I say, I remain your attempt-enabler, and stand watch for your benefit, should the day we hoped for come to pass.

I have been contacting a few people regarding metal casting, since Reaper's $200 production mold rules out many of my plans. This may be a vain hope; $200 may simply be a practical minima for mass production.

As far as rules go, I'll let someone else handle that. They just bore me now. Well, to be more precise, I can recognize good, elegant rules when I read them (e.g. Epic Armageddon), I just have no interest writing and arguing about them.

Thanks for the clarification and enhancement, E&C.

Yes, it was my hope to get them to manufacture pylons for everybody, simply because such a thing becomes boring for me. Plus the fame. And the possible fortune; my curiosity was unslaked in that regard, "How much do sculptors get paid?"

Depending upon demand, and cost, I may submit the legs and vanes of the pylon to mass metal production. That probably wouldn't hurt GW's feelings and would produce good Necron bitz for home conversions.
