Geoff,
You tell your S2 shop I still have some tricks up my sleeve, oh and hit and run make alot of difference to the strategies employed by Eldar armour detachment commanders. You should make a trip down, bring your boys along and we can have a Wed night hitout.
Cheers Aaron

Thanks for the compliments!
I have managed to finish one more unit tonight along with getting partial work done on several others.
6. Guardians (pictured with the seer council - not that I know which unit he will end up in) + Wave Serpents

I have been really enjoying painting the FW models. Luckily they were a really good batch of casts, still a fair bit of cleaning up to do but they are really nice.
I can't wait to paint the Vampires. They are just and awesome model.

Hey Mark.
Fantastic work mate.
Where do you get that crushed granite from? It gives an excellent look to the bases.

Yeah, I was going to ask the same question. I am doing terrain work when I get back and I will be needing some of this to add some detail.
Cheers Aaron

My grandparents gave me a big bag of it but I think you get it where they sell blue metal and all that sort of rocks and sands and basically grab all the really crushed up powdery stuff.
I have knocked out another unit of Guardians with Wave Serpents since getting home from work today.

Then I thought I would have a little fun and take a photo of the army so far.

The Farseers have obviously guided them well to get into such a good position to flank the space wolves.

Thanks Justiniel. The buildings are from:
http://www.hovelsltd.co.uk/
and
http://www.principlesofwar.com/
The hovels ones are a bit less detailed but the resin they use is pretty much bomb proof you could drop them and they would be fine. The principles of war stuff uses more brittle resin but it picks up a lot more detail. Both companies provided good customer service in my dealings with them.

Oh well.... using that logic gives me the opportunity to lay partial blame on half the guys hear for all the weeks when my family is stuck eating tinned soup and baked beans waiting for pay day due to inspiration of another army!!!!
