Thanks guys!

What is the recipe?

hah, really easy this time.

Prime white, base coat of Vallejo Violet Red, shade with successive washes mixing Violet Red + Enchanted Blue + Black. Clean up midtones with straight Violet Red, mix in a bit a white for highlights. Add a bit more white and a touch of bright red to counter the chalkyness from the white. Final solid white highlight used sparingly.

Mate,

That is crazy beautiful work, and your method seems so easy. You sir are the master. Smoke Jaguars, looking forward to seeing those.

Cheers
Aaron

Unreal work. Consistently a pleasure to see.

Thanks guys! The clan mechs might be a bit. This has been a rather busy week and the most I've managed is getting the undercoat on them.

So it's been a bit. Life and all, but I finally finished up a major project that I've had sitting on my table for probably the last year or two. Quite some time ago I set out to build 6 different forces of equal BV that could at least justifiably fight together or against each other all set to the 3050 clan invasion.

What that's ended up being is 4 inner sphere lances and 2 clan stars. The last of which I've finally finished up. So here it is, the last battletech I'll be painting for some time: Smoke Jaguar Delta.

Again, great work. You make those Mechs actually look nice (though, admittedly, those are decent sculpts.)

Agreed with Berserkmonkey, great paintjobs on good models, but then that's what we've come to expect from you Vaaish :D

It's impressive how a really nice paintjob can turn miniatures I find utterly ridiculous into something I Want. NOW ..
