Jimmy here are the colours i've used all Vallejo paints.

Based is painted, US field drab all over and the rocky areas have some German camo dark green daubed in the middle of the area and then thinned out and spread around to taste, add more water or paint to get the look your after.

This is then shaded with a brown wash or shader to add some depth to the brown areas then once dry it's drybrushed all over with Khaki although I usually work around the green areas. Then it's just drybrushing of the rocks with Green Grey and Stone Grey, the edge of my bases have been finished with Khaki.

Just finished preping the infantry for my next heresy battlegroup this time round some loyalists in the form of the Iron Hands. This will be a tank heavy force so there will be many more vehicles added to these over time. As can be seen I started painting some of these already but have nothing finished yet.
