love how the army is coming together, that venator is really nice.

I share your interest (brokenness? i dunno) in leaning towards the sons of horus too, that shade is in a pretty sweet spot

as always watching keen for more

For Matty_C, black undercoat and the black areas obviously black. The green shade is from Vallejo's game colour range namely Scurvy Green now this colour did not cover well over the black so in the end I used Army Painter's Army Green as a base coat for all green areas. Used a black wash over this and then highlighted the green with Vallejo game colour Jade Green here and there.

The photos make the green look a little lighter than it is due to the flash but not by much.

Hey Todd thanks buddy.

I was inspired to paint the gun this way from a picture in one of the FW books which shows a glaive firing with an orangey/red glow to the beam and gun parts. Did the muzzle with a heat discoloured finish like a motorcycle exhaust, purple/blue wash blended.

Bikes almost done should have them posted this weekend and then it's on to the terminators.
