I haven't been using anything on my fingers with greenstuff - hell, I've been licking it. (smooths it out)

I think you will be safe.

This begins to explain why you call yourself madd0ct0r   :))  I think I'll risk giving it a try but I'll give the ingesting of Greenstuff a wide berth for now, thanks.  :tongue:

Rear crystal hood? confuzzled.
It's the curved hood do-da that extends up from the rear of the monolith and over the top of the crystal...
Take a look at the 40K Monolith on GW's site  and see what I mean... (I would link the image but the frakin' site keeps crashing tonight).

Temperament returned to... normal... (?) ...after much needed rest. Programming resumes. No more feeling like Ballistic Bob.

I'll see if I can cut the vanes properly and this time I may even have the Necron Codex open for reference. Obviously being a smart arse does not pay off. I think I'll keep trying the card as I find it easier to measure and cut but if it doesn't work I'll give the metal flash a try. The card is actually quite solid, you can handle the model quite roughly without damage. The vane was a little sod to take off.
I notice I need to build up the lower corners too to give it the distinct corner ridges. another job for card. I'm dreading the gauss weapons too. (Slit the card and place three stuck together rods/tubes inside?).

I only used blue-tack on the stand and the crystal so I can remove it to keep it shiny. I learnt my lesson from the first Obelisk at the start of the thread.

I owe no small thanks to Raiders for inspiration, Levinas for his great idea of using Skaven tails and semajnollissor for supplying them. Cheers lads I love this site for the feel good factor. (Sorry for sounding like I'm accepting an award or something.)

Hey Moscovian. How do I go about acquiring an actual, physical Raiders book? I prefer hard copy to a PDF file any day.

The books are $25US plus shipping.  To the UK I've been charging $13 and the U.S. varies (anywhere from $2.50 to $6.50).  I just got in a new batch of books from the printer.  I ordered more than were paid for upfront like last time, so I have about 14 books extra that can go out within a day or two of receiving payment.

Ultimately I am planning on having a website for the sale of these books and others, but for now this is how I need to do it.

Keep up the good work and I look forward to getting your book out to you!
