Wow the Tau look frigging awesome! I hope I can get mine to turn out that nice.
The fire warrior proxies really work well, makes me wish I had saved the money and not had to worry about having such fragile minis.

Thanks all!
As CS and L4 said, the Fire Warriors are 6mm Crusader Infantry, from Alternative Armies. It was finding a couple of blisters of these on the shelf of a local game store that started my Tau army (they must have been sitting there for years...)!

Awesome. Very inspiring work. In fact it pushes me to get back to painting my Epic stuff.

Well, Thats my Tau Empire Terallien Dog Soldier Drop Infantry sorted.
Crusader 6mm from A&A, as tall as they are, I'll just say it's to scale, the Demiurg are short, the Teralliens tall!
Just seed the bases with a few Drones to 'Tauify' them.
Cheers.

Just a quick update. I haven't had much time spare this week as I'm building a Fortress of Gondor for a local Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle game player.... LINK to the build diary. Never a dull moment around here ?
The Necron so far.

My Tomb Complex, Pylon, Obelisks, Tomb Spyders, Orb & a Destroyer.

The Heavy Destroyers.

And for the Tau, here's some more. The lot so far.

And the new additions.
