Actually now I have some salt shakers sitting on my table I've changed my mind.  They really need a 40x40mm base.  I'm for square.

They would make for a suitably alien looking base....will they come with a small disc at the base?

Do Orks still live in enchanted mushroom forests in the current GW fluff?  Are they still animated, semi-intelligent fungus themselves?

I don't see fungus as really fitting the more recent "spiky" revisioning of Orks.  Piles of artillery shells/bombz would be great for big gunz bases, while a scattering of wheels, scrap metal, cogs, etc might work for inf bases.

That's just cruel. My mind had just recovered from the last time I watched Badgersbadgersbadgers...  :upside:

O-man: personally mushrooms doesn't interest me very much (For gaming purposes anyway) since they're relatively easy to sculpt from a few blobs of putty.
I tend to agree that more techy looking stuff is more interesting. If you're going for organic stuff then maybe something squig-related?
