I am hoping to be finished or very close to finishing the army this weekend. If I don't get it finished this weekend I should be able to finish it the following weekend as I won't be able to do any during that week.
At the moment the remainder of the airforce needs doing, the black guardians and the titans. I have most of the stuff at varying points of progress so I should be able to do it quite quickly.
At the moment I am working on assembling and converting the titans. I am trying to do them shooting out of some ruins with a little adjustment to the posing and legs.

I wanted to convey the elegance and maneuverability of the Eldar, rather than portraying it as a weapons platform. Unfortunately they come in a legs wide static stance. Luckilly they aren't to difficult to convert. If you cut the back of one of the knees out you can reposition it without having to damage the knee pad.

Although the rate at which this army has progressed is nothing short of disturbing. My own Alaitoc Eldar were started with my first guardians from the SM2 boxed set and have now been 15 years underway. Still that army is only about 2/3 the size of this one

sweet, the eldar titans do lend themselves rather nicely to posing.

That may have something to do with pages and pages of beautifully converted and painted miniatures that you have posted up in between.
I think doing an army as a commission has shown me how much you can achieve with your hobby time when you focus on one thing. Normally I do a bit of this, then oh I want to convert a slanesh titan, finish a few things in my guard army, paint some marines.... etc........ I think I spend most of my time packing up and cleaning my painting desk and searching for and setting out minis to paint.

I painted the second of four titans tonight. ?This time I wanted to portray the mighty power of the titan. ?So while the Eldar titans are agile and able to dodge and jump around, why bother steping over some flimsy little wall when you can walk right through it. ?I hope it came accross as clear as I had hoped.
And both titans together.

Beautiful titans. The posture of the phantom is great.
I have to paint 4000 netepic points of eldars before the french gamesday (a friend is coming from Belgium, and we'll play a lot), and I'm going to begin the eldar painting soon.
