The problem with forgeworld Aeronautica minis, it's that they're freaking huge

you mean actually in scale.

I like my in scale, freaking huge FW aircraft. They look fantastic, unlike those retchid GW minis. Although the ones depicted in this thread are masterfully painted.

Cheers

I do have a secret dream that someday some undetermined (hint, hint) 6mm manufacturer might make a really cool bomber. Something in between a B-25, B-26, B-29 and Heinkel 111 with jet engines...

And i'm willing to bet you've already drawn the schematics for such a beast...

Interesting.... (rubbing my hands together like Mr. Burns)

How big is this new creation and where are you going with it?

I was wondering the same thing.

Those are 40k Plasma Pistols in the turret, by them I'd say 1.5"x2.5" or there abouts.  Great stuff as always Warmaster.

Well spotted :) The tracks are indeed from the 40k track spure. They're mounted on an old 1:72 Tiger Tank chassis (Original tracks looked pretty awfull.

It terms of size it is about the same length as the old Capitol Imperialis, however it is somewhat wider: I'd say roughly 33% or so.

If there's enough interest I wouldn't mind shipping the finished piece to a certain amphibious mamal, however I'm somewhat low on cash these days so someone else would have to pay for the silicone.
