During any action against the ruinous powers, foul constructions by the traitors dark mechanicum allies are a common sight upon the battlefield. But perhaps the most terrifying of the enemy's daemonic constructions known by imperial troops as the Death Wheel. Standing almost as tall as a Warhound Scout Titan, these massive, tracked wheels are festooned with baroque spikes, guns and blades.


Deceptively agile for a vehicle of this size, the Death Wheel is capable of smashing their way through any obstacle to crush and disperse enemy formations caught underneath the colossal mono-wheel. Each would careen around the battlefield until finally it would charge toward an enemy position. Numerous fortresses fell to them as they would crash through the defensive walls, shooting out all the spikes within it, and opening the way for traitor assault elements to follow through the breach, such as the fate of the Moebian 543rd Rangers regiment.


Painter's notes:
Had the old VGM deathwheel proxy laying around for ages in the pile of shame so decided to give it a friend (printed) and paint them up in standard IW styling. Always could see them being a heavy user of SH vehicles and daemon engines due to their technical sophistication. Decided to use this giant pile of Civitas building parts to do something with as they're more trouble to use than worth. But being hard plastic can be easily worked into ruins. Envisioned these as just chewing their way through the city crushing everything in their way, plus this would give them a stablizing scaffold to protect and make them easier to mount this way.

In the grinding advance across the ash plains of Vardos, the Iron Hands of Clan Kaargul committed independent demi‑companies of Tactical brethren to a methodical, mechanized thrust designed to break the heretic lines with certainty. The Iron Hands were known to ride to war within Rhinos reinforced with additional ceramite plating, their engines blessed by the Techmarines of the 7th Brotherhood. Pict‑captures recovered from the battlefield show the moment the Razorback Unbending Resolve opened its turret to unleash a fusillade that shattered the traitor vanguard, marking the beginning of the end for the enemy’s defensive cordon.


At the height of the engagement, the Iron Hands sergeants, atypical of other Chapters, were commonly equipped with Tactical Dreadnought plate, disembarked to lead the breach personally, their servo‑augmented strikes clearing the way for their squads. Supported by the Razorback’s suppressive fire and the precise sky‑ward volleys of the Hunter Ferrum Aeternum, the demi‑company carved a path through the fortifications with the cold efficiency of a machine‑god’s scalpel.

This batch has a wide range of figures in there designed by me, daffmakes , Brother Varus, and TheEvilOne.
Vehicles from my forks from Woddish with my extra armour options, tank crews, and greeblies I've added to them (such as Havoc launchers). In the second photo you can clearly see the continuing basing motif I am using to help tie the different marine chapters together as a cohesive force on the table top. Prints by mannschaft.

Blood Angles, cognomen: Revenant Legion

Homeworld: Baal
Fortress-Monastery: Arx Angelicum

The Sanguinary Guard is believed to have its origins during the Great Crusade when Sanguinius himself led the Blood Angels as a Legion. While surviving records are fragmentary, these warriors were believed to be most renowned of the Orders of the First Sphere. Outfitted with the finest golden artificer armour, and baleful Death Masks cover their faces at all times (rumored to be death mask of their Primarch [see Death of the Angel, M36, Trusivius], and carrying legendary power weapons of makes unknown outside the Blood Angels and successor chapters. They almost always jump into battle courtesy of Winged Jump Packs and they typically carry the Chapter Banner to war

Painter's notes:
I wanted a rich burnished gold so went with a layer of VMA chrome followed up with a direct filter of AP Speed Paint Sand Golem. Wings are classic progression of AP Uniform Grey, VMC Pale Grey Blue, up to VMC Silver Grey.
