No problem! I just find the idea of using something as large as a Knight Titan in 40k in the 6mm scale Epic. Certainly makes for a big target!
Cheers Redgeran, it was nice finally being able to finish the weapon arms as without it he looked fairly 'armless.
For my basing I spread some Daler-Rowney Texture Paste to make the base more uneven or to fill in level differences just so it's more interesting, though I'd expect most fillers would work well. I then just coat it in GW's Stirland Mud texture paint and drybrush it with GW's Steel Legion Drab once dry, followed with Pallid Wych Flesh (which looks pretty much like Bleached Bone, so eh). Any areas that look a bit off get some clump foliage to hide it. On the Imperator base I also used some green stuff and very fine sand to help build the base up more and make it less boring, since it's a pretty large area.

For bases, my infantry uses 25mm 0.8mm plywood with 5 6mm circles cut in to them to help disguise the integral bases, and I put that on top of a 30mm 1.6mm plywood base. Bikes, smaller tanks, knight titans etc go on 30mm, Land Raiders and small flyers go on 40mm 1.6mm plywood. I also have flying bases in 60mm and 75mm 1.5mm plywood, with the Litko acrylic flying stand hexagons glued on and blended it with texture paste.
My Warhound(s) are on the 60mm bases, with the Reaver being moved to a 65mm 2mm mdf base, as 75 was too large and 60 too small. Porridge etc etc. The Eldar Phantom fits on a 60mm perfectly fine. As for the Imperator, it's on a 170mm x 105mm 2mm mdf base. Basically the same size as the Knight Titan plastic base, but I splashed out to having a matching style base. I also have various other diameter plywood and mdf bases, just in case something requires a different size. The Defiler for example needed a 50mm base, which nothing else has needed so far. Edit: Oh, and the Dreadnoughts and upcoming Blight Drones are on 25mm bases.
Hope all that helps!
I've been continuing to dabble with paint whilst listening to battle reports on youtube, so finished up the Imperator's face and mask -
