A dry run last night showed it doesn't seem to hold the 4 hammerhead variants I have - has anyone any experience with it and should I be carving out some of the cargo hold roof to make it bigger?

I have one of the old mantas with the loading bay, I got it from ebay and it's badly glued however. I will have to try putting it in the freezer to see if I can get that glue off and rebuild it. Arn't the old Devilfishes and other TAU tank still available from FW ? I think i heard of someone ordering some by phone...

I have an old one ... but I'm not loading anything in the bay. But going to glue it in the open position, like alot of our Choppers flew with the door(s) open for quick exit. Of course in this case the ramp door wouldn't open until they reached "breathable" atmosphere ... 8)

... there's a lot of mention of the old manta.... is the one currently available different to the original one?

And TRC i think it was only devilfish that could be transported inside the model :/

The new one doesn't have the openable loading bay.

Yes, but you might change your mind!

I don;t know if I should pin the resin.

Yes it looks sturdy now but if it breaks it would be a sod to dissemble and do then.

as you can see it can only hold Devilfshes
BUT this is a slightly modified Hammerhead
I ran out of Devilfishes at this moment so
I took a Skyray(still available) without missilewings

BTW I glued my cargo bay in a open position and it holds
but I should have used magnets
