Actually a camo pattern can be done pretty quick. After priming paint the whole dang thing sand/khaki, paint on some strategically placed "blobs" of a warm medium green, then repeat with a warm dark brown, wash everything with brown/black. The brown isn't necessary, but I like it. Then pick out cockpits, treads, and whatever other details. It actually works pretty well for assembly line painting becuase you don't particulary care about the panel lines and other assorted greeblies, let the wash pick them out.

Yes, I always use a black and/or brown wash ... picks out alot of detail ...
