Thanks "Van" !  You know when I thought of the Mars Highland Camo, I figure you'd like it !   It was easy sprayed black, then taped some areas, then red oxide then taped again then, sprayed gray !

And you were right! VERY nice  :D  :D  :D

Thanks Boyz ! That will be my Standard "Mars Highland" Pattern, "Van" !      That little Blockhouse, "Jus" is from Mainly Military, based on a WWII design.  They planted grass on the bunker tops for camo from aircraft.  :)

Don't worry, M/J ! I used the L24 75mm and made the F1 version !

Ah, that's better. Carry on!  :)

I always try to use all my extra pieces !  I even used Airfix Mk.IVs for Assault Guns, Hummels, Braum Baers, Nashorns,  etc., (excuse the German to L4 spelling !) so I had a lot of extra bitz !

The smaller Radar & C? bunkers and Flak Towers are from a GEO Hex supplier, OOP ...

Sharp looking terrain L4!

Just as a point of note though the smaller Radar, C? and laser tower items are actually the old Steve Jackson Ogre PanEuropean terrain pieces that were produced under licence by Detailed Casting Products. Specifically:

Jamscreen Station [Square dish]
Satellite Dish [Round dish]
Command Post
Hardened Command Post
Laser Towers

Steve Jackson actually still has the masters for the line but for some unknown reason won't put them back into production.

I think the last set of Laser Towers I saw on eBay went for something like $35 for a pair... they're sharp looking terrain but that's a bit mad IMNSHO.

The highway bridge from the same set if you can find it is probably one of the nicest bridges for 6mm gaming ever produced.

Yes, I remember now !  I still have the old DCP catalogue, in my GEO Hex file ...  G/Hx used to carry those.  And I have the bridge you speak of.  Actually 2 bridges, a one lane and a two lane ...  I modified them a bit ... I feel another recon photo sweep upcoming !      Thanks, "H"   :D

You got that right ! Just got to get to the camera back from my sister !    I'll take pics of the bridges mentioned above and other stuff.  Plus maybe something for Christmas ... a small town in the desert, on a planet far, far away ... :;):
