Great looking jetbikes Justinel. The shading on the rider is very nice and crisp.
Cheers!

Hi,
WIP BB Stadium

As I said before, not very exciting.
I am writing a diary on my site, but basically, after transposing my plans onto a board, the sides are built up with craft foam (approx 2" high) before being shaped to slope outwards. I have a box of stakes that I've cut and shaped which will be glued around the inside edge of the border next.
The idea was taken from HERE, which was printed in a WD recently. Just imagine it larger and you get the idea.
Cheers, Freshmetal

Cheers, Freshmetal | Hi!
This is pretty sweet.
What you planning to use for the turf and marking the lines?

Fantastic scenery, WN. I love the flowing water, too.
Nice looking jetbikes, Justiniel.

Hi,
What you planning to use for the turf and marking the lines? |
My plan at the moment is to put pins into every crosshairs where the lines cross, and then base the pitch and borders with sand. After it's all been painted, I can remove the pins and paint in the lines in white, and add some static grass in patches around the pitch. I want to keep it quite muddy-looking rather than turfed completely.
This whole process is going to take a while, and I'm still thinking about building viewing platforms and things before I start sanding and painting, so my plans may well change.
Cheers, Freshmetal

Grrrrr... The GZG 'landmate style' power suits came in on friday, and they're just too weedy. :cuss:
Looks like I may have to improvise something else for the army. Must be time to go back to the PAK40 or some Marines.
