Post subject:  2026 QoL Proposals
Putting these forward as playtest changes for the rest of the year.

Skitarii
  • Remove AA shot line from Colossus Robot's Autocannon
  • Remove AA6+ from Ordinatus Majoris Heavy Bolter
  • Remove AA6+ from Ordinatus Minorus Heavy Bolter
  • Change Ordinatus Majoris crit to "5cm of the model suffer a hit on a 4+"
  • Change Ordinatus Minorus crit to "5cm of the model suffer a hit on a 5+"

Slaves to Darkness
  • Add 0–1 per allegiance to Daemon Prince upgrade

Stigmatus Covenant
  • Drop the Factions special rule and change initiative to a flat 2+.
  • Add "This formation has Daemonic Pact and adds one lesser daemon to the Daemon Pool." to the Coven formation.
  • Remove the Daemonic Pact upgrade.
  • Drop Greater Daemon cost to +50 points
  • Drop Lesser Daemon cost to +15 points

Slaves to Darkness/Stigmatus Covenant
  • Add "(add up to three Defilers) (+75 points each) to Defiler formations

Black Legion
  • Allow Sorcerer in Havocs formation

Black Legion/Red Corsairs
  • Drop Defiler formation to 250 points, add Defilers upgrade

Iron Warriors
  • Drop Defiler formation to 400 points

Krieg
  • Add note to Commissars rule: You may not add a Commissar to a unit from a Company upgrade.

Gargant Mob
  • Add Battlewagon upgrade for +25 points and add it to the Loota Warband

Ork War Horde
  • Add Battlewagon extra to Kommando Warhorde for +25 points each

Imperial Fist
  • Change Rapier transport note to "Counts as a Terminator unit for the purposes of being transported."
  • Change Thudd Gun transport note to "Counts as a Terminator unit for the purposes of being transported."

Scions of Iron
  • Change commander upgrade to match Codex List.
  • Add Prometheus upgrade option to replace a Land Raider with a Land Raider Prometheus for +25 points.

Squat
  • Change Berserker to 175/325/475

Tyranids
  • Drop Tyrgon upgrades to +50 points each in the Trygon Swarm

If you don't mind my asking - what's driving removing the AA from Colossi & Ordinatus in the Skitarii list?

Also, if we're taking the AA off the Ordinatus, we probably should take it off the Ordinatus Medrengard in the Iron Warriors list, too.

No issues with dropping Defilers down to 400 for 6. Point matching Black Legion would take them down to 6 for 375, but I can see the purpose in a 25 point tax since they're a Core choice.

The Marjoris is less of an issue, I put it in there for testing though. The IW is even less than that, being 0-1 in a 3k list and also being that it's a Chaos list where there's a dearth of AA.

Between the Hydra, Colossus, Minoris and potential Titan AA there's no other list that can come close to lacing up a board with AA shots. Coupled with the fact that the majority of those shots can be on shielded WEs it makes it particularly nasty and a bit of a crutch. Most lists get by with 1 ground AA option, AdMech has 4, excluding Titans.
