If you would update this list when an army gets approved it would be nice with a heads up a month ahead or something similar as we use this at tournaments and want to be able to include the last update.

I'm in the process of re-starting a list. Is there any way I can use a similar template as the one above so all the lists look the same and when it is time for approval it would already be in the right format?

The lists aren't build in a word processor program, they're compiled into HTML and then a PDF generator takes each page and spits out a PDF, so I can't give you a template. I'll be working on something so people can start recreating the lists in the ALC in this system though.

Ya, although I'm not going to be doing a wholesale pull everything over. The plan's to create some tools to allow the list developers the ability to generate files for the new format, so the onus is on them if they want it in the ALC.

Much better solution than having you do it all by yourself. Burnout is a real risk for these kinds of things.

On a suggestion from Apoc I changed how the datasheets display in your browser: bold unit names, and the stat headings are now smaller, italicized and lighter in color. If the color is too light to read let me know and I'll darken it.

The grey headers on the lighter grey lines is a little difficult for me to read, if I'm honest. I know what they say and they are readable (mostly because I know what they're meant to say) but it's a little too stressful for my poor, old eyes. The bright white background only makes this worse. I'd be inclined to change the alternating entry blocks to a very light, pale blue or green and make the headers a little darker grey.

I'm trying to download the pdf of the new tournament pack but it doesn't work, saying 'Internal Server Error'.

Any ideas?

Change the 18 to a 25 in the url. My redirect rule didn't get overwritten in the last update. I'll fix it Monday.

Fixed now, along with the Death Korp Rough Rider references. Eldar lists were rolled back to only referencing Farseers in summoning the Avatar.

Thanks for all the hard work Dave this is very useful and one of the big reasons Epic tournaments can be held around here!

Just a couple of small questions about the updating process. (I use the Biel-Tan as an example but my questions is general...)

1. I noticed the dates before Biel-Tan and DKoK is still 2015-02-18 even after the recent update.
2. How often will you update the TP? We use it for tournaments so it would be nice to know when an update (other then typos) is planned mostly for the armylists so we can say what version that is legal at the tournament. Also it would be nice to have time to download the "official rules" in case of an argument. (Also I have mine printed from time to time so I do not want to print it just before an update )
3. Right now the Biel-Tan list in the TP and the one under "Army Lists" is a little different. If that is the intent what list would be the "approved" version?

1. Your browser has the page cached, hit F5 or Ctrl-F5.
2. Once a month-ish, depending on updates. If you're hosting a tourney and want to know what the latest changes have been they're summarized here:

Clicking on one of those commits will bring you to a page where you can see the files I changed. Anything red has been removed, anything green has been added. If you still can't parse it all out, PM me and I can summarize the changes for your players if you like. You can also PM me a month or so in advance and I can tell you if there's any pending list approvals or changes that I know about.

3) Both the list in the TP and the one that's separate should be identical. If they're not, it's likely because things have been cached in your browser, see 1).
