Post subject:  Armylists for the European Epic Championship 2014
Dear army champions.
instead of using the epic-uk lists, I decided to use the NetEA lists at the European Epic Championship 2014.
So I have to compile a list of army lists

Could you please pm or mail (brumbaerATbrumbaer.de) me, where I can download the current stable version of your army list(s).

Provided that you agree, I will put a copy on a website for reference and download.
I want to put the lists on a separate website, so that nobody can say, that he had a different version.
I will remove the files once the championship is over.

brumbaer, all the approved lists are in the tournament pack linked to in my signature. The 2014 one should be out this month.

A single post would have been sufficient... Or PMs.

thank's for the info.

You're right about the PM, but I'm not sure who the current champions are - excuse my ignorance.
I also do not know wether the champions check all forums every day.

After seeing the problems with army list versions with the compendium, I think it is best to get the "current" state from the horse mouth, copy the originals and as a bonus free me from having to make copy/paste/edit errors :)

If the tournament pack comes out timely and is stable within a short period of time, I'm happy to use it.
But I read "comes out this month" as late June (otherwise you would have said next week or such) , finding and getting rid of all the error will be finished optimistically mid July.
I would like to get the lists out as early as possible, as having or not having their favorite list available, might influence wether some player will be interested or not, or which army they play. And this may result for some in the need to paint some new detachment.

If the champions are willing to give me the information, I can be up and running within a day once I have received the last list.
I'm not trying to create a new tournament pack nor do I want to undermine the tournament pack - in contrast I would have been happy to use the 2013 version - except for the groans from players.
If the lists, I hopefully receive, are the same as in the tournament pack I'm also happy to replace the "lists" with the tournament pack once it is out and stable.
I only want to be able to allow the players to start planning as fast as possible, I do not want to take over the world.

Yes this was prompted by requests from players "don't use the list in the TP/ALC, that one is out of date, use the new one".

I hope that with the system Dave is building it should be simpler to have the tournament pack in sync with the latest approved versions of lists anyway, is that right?

The only lists out of date in the 2013 TP are IG (rug sent us a few minor point changes), Black Legion and Necrons. Also, the 'nid list isn't in there yet.

The 2014 TP will have the latest lists, yes. If you want a pre-release of just the lists I can do that no problem (they've already been reviewed), they just won't have the FAQs in them yet.

The ALC is still a while off. Elsmore and I have to talk about a system for importing stats into the CMS.

Hi Dave,
if the lists are already reviewed, I will happily take up your offer to send me the lists. I already specified the 2013 Pack as source for the FAQ.

I'm very happy with this solution as it will ensure "continuity" in the lists. - something I'm a big fan of.
My only concern was that the lists might not have been reviewed yet.

They've all been sent out to the ACs and some members have proofed them as well. I'll re-generate them and post them somewhere here, it won't hurt to release them before everything else.
