If it's identical to the one that's going to be on the GW website then I don't see a need for it to be posted seperately.

I have to agree with this as well.  Let GW eat the bandwidth for hosting the files.  *laugh*

Posting them here just muddies the waters even more.

Until there's an actual "NetEA Rulebook", there's no need to host the core rules here, just links to the GW site... once they're there.  *laugh* *sigh*

Having an integrated Errata is much less important than having an Army Book, and as Chroma says, we do not need yet another rulebook out there to muddy the waters.

Umm, I absolutely agree there should only be a single set of the rules, but we really need the integrated rules up ASAP, and I fear that the GW offering will just take an inordinate amount of time to arrive. So for preference post it here - until the SG site has the book, when the page on this site should be modified to be a link to the 'official' set.

I agree with Ginger. Put it up here until the geedub finally get around to putting it up (I won't hold my breath). Once they put it up take it down from here.

I agree with this too, since GW do seem to be moving rather slowly on this issue, not that I am unduly surprised I have to say.

As has been stated, it wouldn't need to stay posted here forever and a day, just until GW get it sorted, but I can't emphasise enough how important it is to help new players get into this game to have readily accessible rules.

I was still playing to the Space Marine rules until I was told about Epic EA, and then working my way through all the different places looking for the rules drove me so crazy, that when I found the Epic Handbook, I just decided to stick with that.

Don't get me wrong, it's fabulous that so many players still put so much time and effort into looking after the Epic system, but having elements of the rules scattered here there and everywhere doesn't make life for new players very easy at all in my experience.

I know you will all be shocked, but there's more delay!  Whoohoo! :glare:

It seems that GW now has concerns about posting an English language version with the integrated errata when there are not comparable versions for their alternate language pages.  That's being unwrinkled.

On the good news side, Jervis did confirm that he has people digging for the chaos lists and he intends them to go up at the same time as the revised rulebook.

Sigh. This exact same problem held up the warhammer fantasy FAQ release for 11 months.

Hm, I don't get it. I thought the only version existing is the English version.
In any case, there sure is no German version.
