The current schedule is this: May - "Tournament" list mods for official army lists from all ACs June - SM month July - IG August - Ork September - Eldar October - Chaos November - Tau December - Nids January '09 - Necron February - WE lists (AMTL/OGBM/Eldar Titan Clans) March - "Minor" or composite armies - Dark Eldar, Daemonhunter/Witchhunter, Adeptus Arbites, Harlequins, etc. April - "cleanup" or break As their 40k codex is due out in the next two months or so, I suggest that another race be swapped with the Space Marines' slot in the schedule, so that we can have time to absorb and meditate on GW's direction for Space Marines in 40k's 5th edition. I suggest the Chaos or Eldar lists as a good swap (Both of those have had semi-recent 40k codexes, and won't be seeing an rules updates in 40k for several years now). |

Is this important? I still field the Iron Wing in my EPIC Dark Angels... |

It's important because unlike NetEpic (No offense), we don't want to end up with a divergant game system which does not mirror the current state of 40k. So if there are any big changes in the 40k Marine list, we may want to mirror them, or at least debate them before laying them aside. Rushing the Marine review through a month before the release of a new 40k Space Marine Codex denies this possibility. Remember, one of the tasks of the monthly review will be to ratify / propose variant army lists... how can we do this fully if we don't even properly know what selection of weapons / vehicles will be available to the Space Marines for the next four years? (That's how long an average Marine Codex lasts). |

I think delaying the SMs a couple months is probably a good idea. I'd like to hear from Hena before we make a call, though. |

Orks or IG's slots wouldn't give enough time to digest the new rules. Swapping with Eldar would be about the earliest I'd propose doing it, and even then I think the Marine Codex is due out around that month, so there would only be a few weeks. |

Orks are undoutably the best balanced core and varient lists. IG maybe depending on how wild you want to go with varient lists and the core list. Would have thought zero has been going on with the eldar varient lists though. |

Would have thought zero has been going on with the eldar varient lists though. I think everyone was waiting for the 1.8 Eldar changes to get sorted before working on variant lists. Now that is over I think people can start looking at lists again. Do we have champions for the other craftworlds? |

How about we pull the SMs out and just slide everyone else up one month? We can tentatively schedule SMs for September, with the caveat that we are waiting on the Codex. ==== TRC: Can you have the IG stuff ready for review in June? |

That's your call. You're the AC. My suggestion would be SL, Siege, any Fanatic-published lists (like the Catachans), and the active variants. But that's just a suggestion. |

Isn't the SM Codex sheduled for October? SpaceWolves for December and then Dark Eldar and Imperial Guard. Most recent Codices are Chaos Daemons (most recent), Orks, Chaos Space Marines, Dark Angels and Eldar (last recent). Ony counted Codiced here wich are dsigned in the current style. |

I have the next release of the Ork Hunters and Chem-dogs nearing completion. I would be willing to put them up Chris but I haven't found playtesters other than myself. |
