Following on from my previous posts regarding the state of Epic and our efforts to continue it, there are a couple of announcements.

EpiComms Rules Development Board (NetERC)

I have now set up an alternate ERC. This group will concern themselves with moving the rules forward from an EpiComms perspective. They will make final decisions and ensure that co-ordination and organisation is kept (in theory). They will have final decision for any EpiComms rules ammendments and issues.

nealhunt (chair)
Chroma
Hena

EpiComms Army Champions

Each of the major races now also has an Army Champion assigned to it. Where-ever possible, I have consulted previous/existing ACs. If I have missed any forces, please let me know. These people will co-ordinate development of their race, make decisions for this race, and organise any sub-lists - ensuring the stats and other factors are consistant across lists. So, if you have worked on or are working on a sub-list, please consult these members. I will work on re-arranging the development boards shortly.

Marines - Hena
Imperial Guard - the_Real_Chris (to be confirmed)
Orks - nealhunt
Eldar - Chroma
Chaos - Pixelgeek (all factions of Chaos)
AMTL - Evil and Chaos
Tau - CyberShadow
Tyranids - Chroma
Necrons - corey3750

There is still a lot of work to do. Personally, I will be making the changes to these boards to reflect this list, and then creating a resource area of the web site to house all relevant documents and links.

In addition, I would be very keen in working with the various groups, such as tournament players, 'the French players', 'the Finns', the official boards and all others.

I am open to any and all suggestions and comments on the current state and future plans. This is your game, and I would like a structure that reflects what you want from it.

Thanks for your support.

Great news CS, can I be the first to say thanks and good luck to all the board members and champions.  And particularly yourself CS for making such great efforts to keep the game alive :D

Hmm, my lists are Dark Eldar, Lugganath, Harlequins.... ?I guess I will now be referred to as K.U.B. (Kevin's Ugly Biatch). :p
CS, thanks for sticking with it and hosting everything here in your cyber-home. ?It is a privilege we tend to overlook to be able to come here together. ?

To the NetERC, please contact me if you need help on anything.  I'll be happy to help.

I agree with KUB.  Glad to see the community moving forward with this.  I'd also like to volunteer myself as an editor when the need arises.

Thanks for the update, CS, and for all of your hard work. I'm glad to see that we're making some faster progress than GW's glacial pace.

All the best guys, and thanks for volunteering :)  Thanks for making the move on this CS.

Sorry I cannot be more involved, but this is not a good year for me to commit to such matters.  I thought it was better to be clear about it now rather than have to pull out later. I look forward to seeing what you guys come up with. :)

That is something that I did want to mention. I wanted to thank all those who said right out that they did not have the time for this project.

It is very tempting to volunteer for something like this, and to do so without having the time and needing to pull out does no-one any favours.

Thanks guys.

Sounds Good ! :D  But my only concern is TRC works with the UN and he's gone more than he's here. I understand based on my past career, but maybe he can pull it off.  He's a talented bloke, he is ! :)

We have a beginning, if we can keep taking small manageable steps progress will be made. But please let us progress together and not jump off all in different directions.

First - Core Rules.

Second - Existing Lists.

Third - New lists.

Let things settle and then start again. If we try and do it all at once we will not get anywhere.
