There have been no stat mods, sadly that's how LRs have always been.
They're 350pts at UK tournaments!

Really? At 350 they look quite good to me, same/more firepower than 275 predators and twice as survivable, with a better fit with a couple of vindicator. Not the most amasing formation in the list (Warhound) but solid. The upgrade for 300 for 4 is extremely tempting as well (cople of tricked out Dev formations mayhaps?).

and when was the last time you took predators? I cannot for the life of me remember the last time I considered them for a Marine force...

..or maybe I just havn't played Marines for a long time....?

Predators (annihilators) and a hunter. Standard cheap way of getting at firepower and AA to back up the thunderhawks and warhounds.

I take Predator Annihilators quite a bit at 275pts.

I never take Predator Destructors, even at 275pts and a FF increase to 4+, as they're simply a liability to the army.
