Hey, going to be testing out Chaos for the first time and wanted a bit of advice on this list. I know there is no air cover, but I don't have the minis for it yet. Worried it might be too heavy with infantry, could drop the daemons for more tanks but I really want to see how well they work this time out. 5 Chosen (Chaos Warlord) 325pts Black Legion Retinue (Chaos Lord, Bererkers, Daemonic Pact, 6 Rhinos) 510pts Black Legion Retinue (Sorceror Lord, 3 Obliterators, Daemonic Pact) 525pts Daemon Host (Bloodthirster, 12 Lesser Daemons (Bloodletters & Flamers)) 340pts Armoured Company (2 Land Raiders/2 Predators) 250pts 2 Decimators 450pts Feral Titan 300pts Feral Titan 300pts Total: 3000pts |

Field the decimators individually - better chance of surviving deathstrike attacks and a better chance of breaking to get the additional 2 move charge forward. With 1+ init and saving the reroll its a good tactic to close the range quickly when you need to - don't forget to keep the 3dc we out of line of fire of the nasty at stuff though! Plus it gets you another activation. |

It's impossible to summon a greater daemon without a Champion to boost summoning points. Even with a Champion, there is a fair chance fo failure and most people opt to take an Icon Bearer to keep the GD on the field, rather than having to re-summon it each turn. Either add the kit to summon it, or switch to something else. |

Field the decimators individually Cheers for pointing that out, had originally planned to get a death wheel as well, but splitting the tanks is a better use. It's impossible to summon a greater daemon without a Champion Whoops, didn't even check that...guess I'll switch the greater daemon for some more predators or maybe another chosen. |
