And here I thought the 1:48 scale heavy cruiser in the IWM was impressive. That thing is one massive model.

Imagine trying to justify a model like that to your other half:

"It's okay dear, I'll move it to the garden shed as soon as I've finished 4/5 of the hull; the lounge is just dead space anyway, isn't it?"

Except that it is over 80 feet long and my house is only 50. It does give me an idea for a unique playhouse for my kids though...  :;):  :D

the only Wave Motion Gun i can think of is one off anime series "Space Battleship Yamato" and alot of other manga\anime after that.

i don't really remember how it was ment to work but basicly it was a really big Gun!
