GZG pics?

I'm considering an order from GZG.  They have alot of appealing 6mm minis (bridgelayer anyone!).

Problem is, most of the minis don't have pics and I hate buying site unseen.  

Asthetics are very important in selecting minis outside the GW range.  For all their faults, GW does set a pretty high standard.

Anyone know where I can find more extensive pics of the Future Wars range GZG sells?  I'm primarily looking at the ground vehicles and VTOLS (though if you are aware of a totally awesome grav tank, let me in on it).

Hi!

One downside of this line is the pictures of the line are incomplete or available only from some fans. Maksim will probably list some links since he has compiled a good list of such resources.

Jon is behind quite a bit on the tech curve. He has full photos in his paper catalog, thus if you go and down load the PDFs from his store you will be able to see them somewhat. I say somewhat because the photos are low res.

Hi!

Some of those pics are not very good unfortunately. Heck if he gave me samples I'd take pics of them for free and send them. Its really not good business not to have good pics in this day and age.

You are barking up the wrong tree. I made that offer 10 years ago. He rejected it. But he offered to send me a full set of the catalog.  :(

Hehe, I think I have heard this offer from at least several dozen people. All turned down. Go figure.  :(

Yep. Just like many of us offered to start up websites, Yahoo Groups, Forums etc and he resisted that because they already have their email lists.

I sometimes wonder why companies turn down FREE help from fans. What do they have to lose? Why fear such offers?

Control. It is all about the need to control everything. Why is it those same companies also seem to never be able to branch beyond the one man shop level?

Even if we made them the Uber User on aweb site or forum, even if we sent them the photos, what ever the help, they loose a little bit of control.

I see it in the work enviroment all the time. I saw a VP who insisted on doing his own filing because "I want to know where everything is". Silly? Yes. Real? Yes.

So I think your answer as to why is Control.
