Well, I was able to snap a couple of photos before my batteries died of the games on Saturday.

Three rounds of 3000 points each and it was a lot of fun!

My first battle was against Pipboy's stunning Necrons!  I didn't take a lot of up close pictures of his models... as everyone else was already doing that!

The game ended in turn 3: Tyranids 4 (BTS, DTF, T-n-H, TSNP) vs Necrons 0 (none)

Of course, this was one of Pipboy's first games using his Necrons as well as one of the first times he'd faced Tyranids... let's just say he learned quickly and, even starting with that harsh loss, won the Tournament with 9 Victory Points accumulated in his next two games!

The C'tan took great revenge on the Hive Mind this time, and at the end of turn 3 it was: Tyranids 2 (Blitz, T-n-H) vs Necron 3 (Blitz, BTS, T-n-H).

I only managed to get those 2 Victory Points using my only good luck of the game... the 4 Lesser Nodes claiming the various Necron Objectives actually won some assaults against savaged Phalanxes and the wins broke the Monolith formation that was contesting them!  *laugh*  A really great and tense game.

Of course, my camera died part way through the fight so I've only got these two snaps:

My third game was against BloodnGuts's fallen (and falling!) Marines of the Black Legion.

BnG and I are good friends and we've had lots of battles against each other, and it's the simple truth that I've won most of them.  Knowing this, my girlfriend, the illustrious D-Girl, made him promise to kick my butt to keep my ego down!  *laugh*

Well, he kept his promise, though the fight was tough!  The game went to tie-breaker after turn 4 with a tie of Tyranids 2 (DTF, TSNP) vs Black Legion 2 (BTS, DTF).  (He could have won the game 3-2 with "TSNP" as I'd only gotten a single Hormagaunt onto his side of the board.. but his Swiftwinds failed to come on the board as the last activation of the game!) The tie-breaker was Tyranids 1210 vs Black Legion 2040.
