Calling all Epicommers This is the first notice for the Special Project Day(s) for June. Because of the response to the idea, I am going to say it is across three days. Friday June 9th, Saturday June 10th, or Sunday June 11th. What is it: dafrca has made a vow to set aside one day a month to do special game related projects. His April day was a glue day used to assemble many of the vehicles he owned. Many were done. In May, issues caused dafrca to be side tracked. But back on the schedule June goes. The idea is that by using one vacation day you can focus on a single large project or clear up many smaller ones. Friday June 9th, dafrca will be primering his little heart out. So far we have more then 40 vehicles and over 100 troops all going to receive the first stage of painting. But feel free to select what ever you want to do for this day. Just join me and let?s make this a real ?we got something done? moment. On Sunday June 11th, I will start a thread for us to post what we did and if we have them, photos of what we did. I would love to think of this as a way to motivate those with more to do then time to do it. Join In The Fun! June 9th through 11th |

I say, steady there, old boy - those Aeronefs (item 3) may not be the Queen's own, but they do belong to her time, what? Too much wine sauce, eh? ![]() |

I am certainly in with this... booking my day off work now! I will be in for most of the Friday, and I may even make a half day during the weekend as well. Who knows, I may have completed undercoating the horde of eight DRM infantry by the end of the weekend! ![]() I have a long list of projects to make progress on. Great idea. |

Oh, bad show, old boy. I hope its not the gold rimmed one with the monogram! That would be dashed luck indeed. And whilst on the subject, we're one step ahead of you with our unicycle design! Cheerio, old sport, pip-pip and all that. Of, and CS - a day off - gasp! The luxury! ![]() ![]() |

Count me in. I'll spend time gluing. I know I have lots of stuff to base, like Sentinels, Rough Riders, IG bikers, robots and some IG troopers. Weather permitting, I'll do some primering. |

Yep, that is exactly what I am doing. Something for me. Use a vacation day and do game related stuff. ![]() Here is the plan: Friday Morning, take Madd to school. Then go to the local dinner for a nice "Bad for me" breakfast. Then on to the primering set up. Place vehicles in sets onto cardboard trays. Primer as many as I can. I have two cans, but if I run out then it is an afternoon break to run to the FLGS where I will get more. Once all the primering is done, I will start the base coating until about 4:00 pm. At that time I will stop, shoot the final photos, and wrap it up. Go get the kinds and have a nice junk food dinner. ![]() One vacation day later and I have a ton of stuff done and feel good about it. dafrca |

i'm really afraid that stopping myself from buying 15mm scale troops is easier than getting all the way there by then - at least with my current budget.... it would cost the equivalent of SO many models.... ![]() |
