Hello, those of you who live in the UK, who have a Toymaster (or affiliated toy store) near you, and want some discounted 40k/WHFB/LotR boxsets, you're in luck! I believe this chain are going in to liquidation, and are selling everything in their stores with a 1/3 discount. Seeing as they stock GW stuff, that includes that! I bought several sets myself today, half I'll keep and half I'll sell. Just thought this would be useful to anyone who wants some cheap GW minis (sadly not of the Specialist Games variety ![]() Enjoy! ![]() |

Does the shop near you have the 40k boxed game? To add to this the lord of the rings collectable pre painted models are being flogged off in pound shops, works out at about 8 pence per model. |

Don't somehow think they'll suddenly open a branch here to liquidate the day after with reduced prices... ![]() |

DO you know if that is all toymasters? We have one that I can only describe as a franchise of toymaster here in Norwich. At a guess I'd say its privately owned but has a toymaster sign. |

I believe that this may be just your Toymaster store. All Toymaster stores are privately owned and are not franchises they just use the Toymaster branding. I checked my local Toymaster today and there was no sign of a closing down sale (or any kind of sale) but I will admit I didn't go in. Their website makes no mention of closing down, but the frontpage does mention a sale, but not a closing down sale. |

The same in Norwich, a sale on some items, but nothing on the whole stock. |

I don't know why they do in Norwich, theres a GW and at least one other stockist (with a regular 5% discount of GW products...) |

If you are a parent, a GW store (or other gaming stores) can be quite intimidating (especially on a Saturday when they are full of frothers). Going to a regular toyshop can be an easier option for some. |

Ok, that explains the discount at said shop, probably more scary for parents thatn even a GW. (they sell small amounts of larp weaponary, have a massive lan for gaming and also do a ton of ccg.) |

I went back today to the one near me in Halifax, and they've cut prices again, to 50% off. Naturally, I splurged big time! ![]() ![]() |
