Hi Everyone,

I wanted to have a thread on which to post news about me so that people understand if I'm out for awhile. My new job is really demanding and when combined with my night job, I have twelve-hour work days much of the week (Wednesday and Friday are free evenings.).

Yesterday I was so beat after work that I hit the sack without even glancing at Epicomms. I wanted anyone waiting on a reply from me about something to understand.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Absolutely understandable Maksim. :)  Though painting miniatures and spending time on EpiComms is a lot of fun, one has to meet the demands of "the real world". I hope you find the time to relax and paint a few minis every now and then. Just remember to unstress so you don't get burned out. :;):

Cheers! :)

I understand Maksim, It's 2.45am here in New Zealand and I'm still in the Lab fnishing work!

Take care of yourself!!  Try not to work those sort of hours too long or burn out will come, especially if you are in a 'people profession' like teaching.

All the best and I look forward to your hours decreasing.

Hi Maksim, it comes to that for me between work (~10 hours) and the postgrad stuff (~2-3 more). No need to explain! And good luck. :D

You have to have priorities matey, and Epic must necessarily come after work and family.  Its life.  Its not fair.  And it sucks :D

Hope the intial burn through at the job doesnt last too long.

Take it from me as a man who rarely gets tme to be anywhere near anything epic (even online), it makes the time you do get with your rules and bits of metal, plastic and paint just that much more satisfying.  Absence makes the heart grow fonder!:)

And you dont need to worry about what people around here think mate- we're with you!

Life can be quite fickle... priorities change...

It can be very challenging and sometimes upsetting...

But that is why we are here, to talk Epic and give virtual support.

Hi Everyone,

---

Things are coming around, but the children I inherited have a lot of problems. I also still feel insecure.

I also have to send out progress reports on Friday... I've barely had them long enough to do grades though... :(

---

My job was confirmed on Monday so I'm in with a full contract confrimed by the school board now.

---

I don't plan to be all work and no play though.

I'm going to game with my San Jose group this weekend and the girlfriend and I are going together.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.
