I just wanted to say thanks to all the players who attended for a really enjoyable day, and well done to Dave Thomas AKA dptdexys for winning his 3rd Open War.

Open War V was the first epic tournament I have attended and I must say I hugely enjoyed it. I would urge anybody considering coming to one of the upcoming tournaments to do so. I was pretty nervous beforehand but I don't think you could find an easier, more friendly group of people to play with.

So I would urge any epic players to come along - after all there are always complaints here, and elsewhere, about the level of support offered to epic and it couldn't hurt to have a sizeable group - say 20(there were 10 at OWV) turn up at Warhammer World to play epic

I'll add my support for that, the day was good - sure I came 7th, and my team came last... but I had fun, got to play epic with new people and learn some new tricks.

Plus I learnt how much I hate aircraft, shall rethink my list for Call to Arms in July.

Sadly I can't make the WPS event, Tim was saying epic will probably be cancelled there, too few entrants.


At OW I view epic rather like the lib dems, one day we might be the second majority... one day. May be I'll tell all the 40k players the wrong date  :D

You never know, with 15+ players we may even get a prize for 2nd place.
