Generally 2700 - 5000 pionts, however Orton and I are going to embark on a camapign using CS's map, so I am sure that this will blow out into some very big numbers.

Good point, if you are playing a campain then the numbers could get odd because of the long term reach of the game.
Campains are different from regular one off games in many ways, the number of points per side being just one of the ways.

5k+ might look good when it is set up, but remember that the army lists were not created with that size game in mind and thus are not balanced in any way at that size. Play a 10k game and some armies will have unfair advantages beyond any skills of the players.

Aren't you the same Tneva that made significant changes to the AMTL list because what is balanced for GT-level games is overpowered in your large games?

I made changes to AMTL list because that frigging list is unbalanced in non-huge games.
So far largest AMTL force I have fielded has been circa 4000 points. So changing it because it's unbalanced in higher games wouldn't make much sense.
I made changes because the frigging weapon selection system is simply broken beyond repair. Not because it's somehow broken in 10k games(where I haven't fielded all-titan list anyway and likely never will. Those games sees combined arms approach).
