Post subject:  "Fantastic 4" and Spouses at Large...
Last night I saw a trailer for the "Fantastic 4" movie which is coming out in July. Looks like it might be good. I loved the Fantastic 4 cartoon when I was growing up. I hope they include some of the memorable dialogue like "Flame on!" and, my favorite, "It's clobberin' time!"  :laugh:

I just say, "Hunny, let's go see a guys movie." and her replay is, "Maybe you should go with your friends to see that one."

Of course, that means I have to take her to see her kind of movies once in a while too. :laugh:

Yes, having a female is a mixed blessing. You have to clean up your act in some ways but you get some nice extras in trade.  :cool:

I am actually looking forward to this as well, even thought the F4 were never a favourite of mine (but this may have more to do with the lovely Ms Alba!).

The trailers do make this look good, and yes 'Its Clobberin Time' does feature - and I think 'Flame On' do as well!  :D

I will probably drag the g/f to see this. She is a movie fan in general, and we went to see 'Monster In Law' last week so she owes me!

I saw the F4 Trailer when I saw Episode3. Maybe it was a reflection on the cinema audience on day 1 of release of Episode3 but I certainly was n't the only one to cheer when heard that line!

 :D

Also looking forward to the new F4 Heroclix release next month. Already seen cool-looking figures for Johnny Storm (& Nightcrawler).

I'll refrain from anti-female comments as it is not P.C. and my out look has been severely tainted as of recently !  Again ...  :{  'Nuff said ! But my crew will see F4, Batman, War of the Worlds, etc. ... we'll just be "sans" females ! :laugh:

I would be more than happy to take my wife to chick flicks once in a while in return for letting me go see a "guys movie." My problem is that my wife thinks that going to the movies, for the most part, is a "rip off."  :(   Granted the price for tickets at my local theater is about $9, but we hardly ever go.   :(
