I just calculated what it would cost to get a sizable (6000 point) Tau army for Net Epic using Forge World figs. That would be a modest 523?...  :O   :O   :O

only 523 euro, perhaps that explains why I've got no Tau to play with :(

Hi!

All hobbies are for the rich. Disposible income is a luxury very few have in poor underdeveloped nations (or even in so called rich ones), where food and shelter come first.

While we may complain sometimes that we dont have "enough" for buying epic, think of those who dont have anything for even basic stuff like food.

Now that I have waxed philosophic....

...it will cost me a couple of THOUSANDS to get together my "primarchload" Tau force. I have spent about two thousand on them already and thats probably not even half of what I want .....

At the current rate of exchange $2000 thats nearly ?10 :o  ???  :;):
I think I may just set up a direct debit to FW for Tau. Saves time and effort :{
Cheers.

Having said that, the rules are free, you can download proxy counters, there are paper buildings and trees etc to be had for free. Just the cost of some card and ink for your printer...

What am I saying? Buy the models & paint - it's cheaper than ink cartridges :D

Regards,
Furgie

Add to the list, done a complete inventory and finished painting all his minis. That would insure his being around for a long time.  :laugh:
