Hello,

Just wondering what everyone is doing for Halloween. In particular what costumes!

I am doing the usual party thang with Pumpkins, booze and a minivan to take us to a club later. My costume which compared to my friends is a bit bland is going to be a Vicar, otherwise we have coming:
A sexy witch
A maid
2 pirates
Liz Hurley
A Nun

Tom.

As haloween isn't a Finnish custom (even though it has started to make an invasion from a certain country...) I won't do anything special.  :;):

Taking the kids Trick-or-Treating on Thursday, no plans on actual Haloween.  :(

It is a cheap, comercial excuse for drinking waste amounts and oggling women in skantily clad costumes.

Our only vain attempt at authenic cultural influence is my mate - who is training to be a druid.

Like Mojarn said Halloween isn't much of a tradition in Scandinavia but it is slowly catching on. There won't be much in terms of traditions but we'll probably jump on the bandwagon and use it as an excuse to drink ourselves lame and wear silly outfits! :D

Cheers! :)

Well I have this dream of wearing a giant ferret through the head... Haven't quite figured out the rest but I reckon it will be a disturbing image. :p

An interesting costume I saw a couple of years ago was a guy dressed as a mouse caught in a gigantic mousetrap. Unfortunately it had the side effect that he could not sit down and had to walk sideways through doors. Another friend of mine came dressed as a really scary germ. He actually looked very friendly but that's how those Viruses trick the immune system you know.... He assured me that the disease was quite nasty once you've caught it! :D

Cheers! :)

It's my birthday, I'll be celebrating and receiving presents... :D

My girlfriend has hinted that she ordered something from the UK so I'm wondering what she purchased... :)

Shalom,

Hey Netepic and co., will you be doing the 5th of November as well? Wife was in Sheffield this time last year, and reported fireworks and stuff. Sounds fun.

Well, my friend Harry (former USMC) and I are going to a few parties! We may run into my other "friend" and her girlfriends, who "Quote" are dressing up as "slutty Girl Scouts!" :o ?

She is very excited about it! I'm going to wear all black with a t-shirt with a big skull on the front and back! It's a very cool shirt. I'm going to paint my face to look like a skull and wrap my head in an old green army "drive on" rag. I'll be the "Dark Angel of Death... the Deathbringer... destroyer of worlds..." :;): ?

As far as my "friend", well I have not whined about her lately, but it's WWI or the Cold War. Stalemate... going nowhere... save for conversation at the gym. So much for luck. Halloween night, if we link up with them, probably won't make a difference. :(

Oh well ... :{ ?< whine mode terminated >

OOOhhhh, halloween
actually I (and family) will be winging my way to Berlin for a weeks break that day, which means celebrations will have to be curtailed until Mon, I'm really looking forward to it.

Best halloween party I went to was 2001.  People made more than the usual halfa**ed effort for it   :D

I'm sixth photo down getting sliced by Freddy, and again in another photo further down with the guys sister.

And here's my full costume at left... proving I have no shame... :p :D
