Hello,
Just wondering what everyone is doing for Halloween. In particular what costumes!
I am doing the usual party thang with Pumpkins, booze and a minivan to take us to a club later. My costume which compared to my friends is a bit bland is going to be a Vicar, otherwise we have coming: A sexy witch A maid 2 pirates Liz Hurley A Nun
Tom.

As haloween isn't a Finnish custom (even though it has started to make an invasion from a certain country...) I won't do anything special.

It is a cheap, comercial excuse for drinking waste amounts and oggling women in skantily clad costumes.
Our only vain attempt at authenic cultural influence is my mate - who is training to be a druid.

Like Mojarn said Halloween isn't much of a tradition in Scandinavia but it is slowly catching on. There won't be much in terms of traditions but we'll probably jump on the bandwagon and use it as an excuse to drink ourselves lame and wear silly outfits!
Cheers!

Hey Netepic and co., will you be doing the 5th of November as well? Wife was in Sheffield this time last year, and reported fireworks and stuff. Sounds fun.

OOOhhhh, halloween actually I (and family) will be winging my way to Berlin for a weeks break that day, which means celebrations will have to be curtailed until Mon, I'm really looking forward to it.

you never know....
then it could be some PG Tips tea!
If I forget, Happy Brithday.
